Our Big Ol' Party
Happy 4th of July a day late! :-) I was unable to post an entry yesterday due to the 4th of July party that Bill and I hosted at our house. We had 13 people there, which was both of our families. It was a BYOM (bring your own meat) party, and we also had other donations of side dishes and such. We supplied the facility, beverages (including strawberry daiquiris and pina coladas from our smoothie maker), and entertainment (beachball volleyball and badminton). Unfortunately none of the hilarity of the entertainment was caught on film, but I do have a few shots of folks sitting around, courtesy of my dad: All in all, I think everyone had a good time, so we're planning on having a similar event next year. :-)
