The 4th of July is special for a good reason
We should all take some time to think about why the 4th of July is important. A recent discussion of the eminent domain issue reminded me of this fact and I am going to take some time and actually read The Declaration of Independence. The United States of America was born from the desire for people to be free of oppressive governments. Now, we are sliding backwards. The government is taking away more of our rights every year and few seem to care. To read the discussion, follow the comment links here.

Well, I can tell by all the bangs, whistles and pops that it's now officially the 4th of July and I'd just like to wish everyone a happy 4th of July. Please keep all appendages in their proper place. No missing fingers come Tuesday....

Today we went to a little pre-4th of July celebration, where I captured my (somewhat conventional) Window Entry.. But spent most of my time with the new Rebel's 'sports' mode and watching friends' Kids Playing in the pool . Happy Independence Day Everybody!
