Storytelling, mask-making, moon walks and puppets are just a few of kiddie-approved highlights. One of my favorite holidays is Independence Day. The best part is the fireworks at our local highschool. Swanton does a great job each year and draws in a very large crowd. My family does'nt get to bed on firework night till well after midnight.I must ask our friendly neighbors, however, to limit the home fireworks to the weekend of the 4th. While we all like playing with them some of us have jobs that require us to get up before dawn, and not just Monday through Friday. There is nothing more frightening as an extremely loud BOOM a few doors down just as I'm drifting. It takes another hour for me to sleep after your last light up. Please, Please Please. Put them up till next year. I hear them all over Town. My family in Toledo hears them too in their neighborhoods so I know it's happening everywhere. Theyre illegal and there is a reason for that.
